The Pyrenees form the mountain range along the border between Spain and France, with long passes that attract road cyclists. The Pyrenees Three-Day Camp links mountain passes across three days, covering 320 km and 7,400 m of climbing with van support, hotel and a mechanic.

It is a serious undertaking for fit riders. The support makes the logistics simple, but the climbing itself is demanding, so prepare with several long rides beforehand.

Why ride here

The Pyrenees offer long, steady climbs and high mountain scenery that are hard to find elsewhere nearby. A multi-day format lets you ride several passes without repeating the same road.

When to go

Late spring to early autumn is the usual window. Snow and ice can linger on high passes into spring and return in autumn, and mountain weather changes quickly, so carry a warm layer and a rain jacket.

Guided or self-guided?

The camp is a supported, guided format with a van and a mechanic. That lets you focus on riding rather than route planning, luggage or mechanical problems.
